Dr. Felipe Hernández-Rodríguez received the B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2006 from the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, Mexico. He obtained the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing in 2009 and 2013, respectively, from the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (CINVESTAV), Saltillo, Mexico.
His research interests are in the areas of computer vision, pattern recognition and face shape recovery, with a recent interest in the areas of flexible manufacturing systems and industrial robotics applications. He is currently working as full-time researcher at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Saltillo, developing projects related with computer vision and industrial robotics, autonomous vehicles guidance and flexible manufacturing systems.
