Gustavo Arechavaleta

He received his Ph.D. from the National Institute for Applied Sciences, Toulouse, France, in 2007. From 2003 to 2007 he was with the Gepetto group at LAAS – CNRS. In Fall 2008 he joined the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Group at CINVESTAV, where he is a Researcher working on motion generation and control for anthropomorphic robotic systems. In Fall 2015 he has spent a year in the Coordinated Science Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Visiting Researcher. Currently, his research interests are mainly focused on robot trajectory optimization and vision-based robot navigation.
